     Mike began his pastoral duties at the Bedford Free Methodist Church in July 2016. He strives to help people to see the practcal applicaton of God’s Word for daily living. Fishing in Minnesota is one of his hobbies and he enjoys taking a group of guys every year, listening to their stories and challenging them
to go deeper in their relatonship with Jesus.
     Mike and his wife (Lisa) have three children: Jason, Jenni
(married to Phil Heisick) and Jarrod. Their two grandchildren, Huck and Hazel, bring them great joy
Katie Sawade Hall
Children’s Pastor/ Pre-School Director
Katie Sawade Hall has been the Children’s Pastor and Pre-School Director since June 2014. She received her Master of Divinity Degree from Duke Divinity School in May of 2014 and married her husband Andy that October. (2014 was kind of a big year for her!) When she’s not spending time with the kids at BFMC (namely, teaching them about Jesus or telling them cheesy jokes), she enjoys walking, swimming, traveling, and reading good books.  
Jason Lefler
Youth Pastor
Jason graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2010 with a BA in Mathematics and is currently attending Wesley Seminary.  He and his wife (Rachel) have two children, Hope and Malachi.  Jason wants to make a difference by engaging and inspiring the next generational leaders for Christ.  When he’s not with his youth playing tennis, getting coffee, or playing video games, he enjoys camping at Wabash Park Camp and Retreat Center, hiking, shopping, and playing all kinds of sports. His life verse is Ephesians 3:20, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
Scott Salm
Associate Pastor/Celebrate Recovery Director
Scott and his wife Connie have three daughters and three grandchildren.  Their family started attending the Bedford Free Methodist Church in 1995 when Scott was working for a para church organization.   Scott has been the Youth Pastor since January 2002 and is transitioning to fill an associate role and continue to direct Celebrate Recovery at the church which he has done since January 2015. His favorite passage of scripture is Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.
Amy Voris
 Worship Director
Amy graduated from Indiana University in May of 1995 and married Joe in June.   They met while being in musical theater productions together.  They have two children, Evan and Emma.  She was a teacher from 1995-2003 when she became a stay-at-home mom.  She enjoys all the aspects of music ministry; anything from children’s musicals to the all church choir Christmas program.  She still enjoys being in theatrical productions, but savors the time with her kids and curling up with Joe to watch Masterpiece and BBC Mysteries.  
Ronnie McLain
Visitation Pastor
Ronnie McLain was called to ministry about 35 years ago and went to Southern Seminary. He enjoys his position and the people God has given him to work with. His wife is Barbara, and they have a son named Greg and a granddaughter named Indy. He has been working at BFMC about 18 years.

Evelyn Robbins
Administrative Assistant

Evelyn started working at Free Methodist Church in July 2005. Her duties include answering the telephone, entering attendance, and assisting in various office duties.  

She is married to Richard and they have two daughters and six grandchildren. She loves to play the piano and uses that talent the Lord gave her to praise Him!
Stephanie Ryan
Pre-School Teacher
Stephanie Ryan has been teaching at Free Methodist Pre-School for 16 years. She and her husband Barry have been married for nearly 27 years. They have two children, R.W. and Abbey Ryan. Working and being involved in this pre-school ministry is truly a blessing for her. 
LaShawna Ashley
Teacher’s Aide
LaShawna Ashley has been married 23 years and has 2 beautiful girls. God blessed her in 2013 with the pre-School aide job. There is a verse in Esther that says, “Perhaps this is the moment for which you have been created.” She truly feels that, for her, bringing God’s word to children is that moment.
